Stainless Steel Resting Tray 26.5cm

Inspired by the industrial kitchen, where a tray is a work surface. Built for resting a piece of meat or fish on the wire rack. Used without the rack, it is just as good in the oven with vegetables, or as a prep tray. A step up, for a whole board of chopped vegetables.

On steel and heat
Stainless steel expands when it gets hot, but not evenly everywhere. The thin base heats up quickly, while the reinforced rim takes longer to catch up. Because of this, the tray may flex a little while it is hot. Once it has cooled down completely, it normally goes back to flat.

Tips and tricks

• Spread food evenly across the tray
• Avoid preheating the tray empty
• Let the tray cool before rinsing in water
